Katipo Rosters Launched

Katipo are delighted to announce the launch of our new Rostering System. Developed in Ruby on Rails, and tentatively named Kakama, the system enables organisations to manage casual staff rostering.

The Administration Interface provides tools to your administrators manage rostered events, shifts, venues, and staff.

The Staff Interface gives your casual staff the ability to register their contact details and general availability. They are able to register their availability for a specific rostered event and to confirm or decline their attendance for a rostered event.

For Administrators

The administration interface will be separated into four main areas:

  • Venue Management
  • Shift or Event Management
  • Staff Management
  • Reports

For Casual Staff

The Staff Interface gives your staff the ability to register their availability and confirm or decline their attendance for a shift or event. Once logged in, staff members will be able to:

  • Accept or reject a shift or event
  • Modify hours of availability
  • Modify contact details.
