Katipo sells Koha Division

Assets transfered include our Koha public library contracts and the Koha team comprising Russel Garlick, Chris Cormack and Mason James. They all start work for Liblime NZ Ltd on the 2nd of April.

Katipo retains the rights to

support it's smaller, primarily non lending Koha library clients;
participate in the Koha project on a voluntary basis;
work on the Koha templates - providing html and design skills

"We have agreed to a two year non compete arrangement in all other areas of Koha installation and support in order to give Liblime a fair go, and so that we can concentrate on some of our other exciting projects." Says Rachel Hamilton-Williams, General Manager of Katipo Communications.

At this time Rachel is the Kaitiaki (Guardian) of the International Koha project.
